August was bursting with energy and connection at Strathpine Aged Care, with residents embracing every opportunity to celebrate, create, and come together. We kicked off with our Thursday Bus Outing to Redcliffe, followed by a community-filled Car Club Showcase& Sausage Sizzle. Residents enjoyed heartwarming moments during Pet Therapy, lively tunes at Happy Hour with Rob Stevenson, and the unforgettable EKKA Day Celebration featuring strawberry ice cream and a petting zoo. Creative mornings in our Garden Group, shared pancakes at our Czech Cooking Afternoon, and dancing at Jade’s 80s Disco Party made the month one to remember. We also welcomed new friends during our Morning Tea with Aspley Aged Care and bid a warm farewell to a beloved team member.
